You are what you read. That's the idea behind this year's Christmas card which shows us overshadowed by just a few of the books that have influenced our thinking over the past 12 months. To create the card, we took individual photos of ourselves against a plain white wall. After getting the film processed, we cut out the images and then placed them into the still life with the books. The whole scene was then rephotographed on our dining room table. Below is a photo showing our cat Milo climbing on the table to sniff a votive candle while we were photographing this card.
