Christmas 2004

Christmas Card 2004The card was influenced by the look of Art Deco travel posters from the 1920s (The specific poster we borrowed from is shown below). We took a photo taken of the three of us, with Victoria's mom (at far right) on camels, taken by a camel driver in Egypt. Then we combined that with the design element of a Egyptian-style arch, Frank created from scratch in the computer and pasted into it a photo of the Sphinx taken by Victoria. The text is in German and translates as "Travel Egypt" and "The Pyramids." Click here to see a sharper version of the main "travel poster" design in our card.

Perhaps in a year once again consumed in Frank overseeing the construction of a new building for King of Peace Episcopal Church, which he pastors, the Christmas card emphasizes a vacation. We dropped the finished design into a Christmas Card out our local Wal-Mart to print the results. Copyright 2004 Frank and Victoria Logue.
